Together We Can project participated in the YouthSpeak Forum at the United Nations in Vienna

On May 30, 2025, the Together We Can project participated in the YouthSpeak Forum at the United Nations in Vienna. This year’s forum, centered around the theme “Innovation as a Solution” in line with SDG 9, brought together youth, experts, and advocates from various sectors. The event featured keynotes and workshops focused on sustainable solutions for youth employment, innovation, and societal challenges. As part of the event, our team hosted an information desk where we shared the policy brief of the Together We Can project, highlighting its mission to empower and upskill migrant women in rural areas. The forum’s goal of fostering youth engagement with sustainable enterprises aligned perfectly with the project’s objectives of promoting education and employment for migrant women in rural communities.

The second awareness event took place on June 29, 2025, at a communal flea market in Vienna. The market, which hosted 9 tables with various sellers, included a keynote presentation on the Together We Can project. This presentation focused on the project’s aims to empower migrant women by providing them with essential skills for successful integration into education and employment opportunities. The event was a collaborative effort, bringing together a community of like-minded individuals and organizations to advocate for migrant women’s integration and participation in rural education and employment. It was an opportunity to connect, raise awareness, and promote the project’s ongoing efforts in supporting marginalized communities.

Both events marked significant steps in raising awareness about the Together We Can project, engaging local communities and stakeholders in the important conversation about empowering migrant women.
