Project Description

We are dedicated to empowering migrant women in rural areas, aiming to equip them with essential skills to integrate successfully into education and employment opportunities. Our project embraces a whole-community and bottom-up approach, fostering collaboration among various stakeholders who share a common vision of empowering rural women migrants.

Our Vision

"Together We Can" brings together businesses, community leaders, public institutions, and educational stakeholders in a forward-looking transnational network. This collaborative effort aims to inspire and enable migrant women to become active agents in community-oriented actions and initiatives, driving positive change and empowerment.

Objectives

At the heart of "Together We Can" is a holistic approach to inclusion. Through training and partnerships, we bring together rural migrant women and local stakeholders to build basic skills and key competencies, opening doors to lifelong learning, personal fulfillment, and integration into various spheres of life, including education, training, and employment.

TOGETHER WE CAN WORKING SCHEME

Our project management approach is designed to ensure the effective implementation of project activities and the successful achievement of our objectives. This approach covers three crucial areas:

– Administrative and Financial Management.

– Progress Review and Monitoring.

– Quality Assurance.

To handle potential risks, we develop a risk management plan. This plan involves collecting partner feedback, identifying potential risks, and implementing measures to mitigate them. We integrate digital tools and learning methods into the project, promoting cooperation among partners and enhancing accessibility and inclusivity in various project activities. Our approach ensures efficient communication, monitoring, and evaluation, ultimately supporting the success of the project.

METHODOLOGY

 – Best Practice Benchmark Statement:

An early step for the TWC project was to identify and establish an across-country benchmark report gathering international best practices collecting, processing, and using European experiences related to local integration strategies for migrant women. You can find the ‘BestPractices Benchmark Statement for Migrant Women Inclusion in Education, Employment, and Training in Rural Areas’ in the project results tab.

– Knowledge Sharing:

We want to provide comprehensive information about these best practices, making it easier for our partners to share knowledge and encourage the adoption of these successful solutions across the EU.

– Policy Enhancement:

We also focus on finding gaps in existing policies that support migrant women. Our objective is to create tailored, adaptable, and transferable solutions and methodologies based on these best practices.

– Empowerment:

Ultimately, the Together We Can project strives to develop an actionable methodology that recognizes migrant women as active contributors in their inclusion processes. Our aim is to shift perceptions and inspire a more inclusive approach to migrant participation in local integration strategies.

LEARNING AND TRAINING SCHEME

Through collaborative efforts and a customized transnational training approach, the learning and training schemes created within the TWC framework are dedicated to enhancing an actionable, practical, transferable, and replicable Integration Pilot Program. Our aim is to ensure the active and equal participation of all parties involved (stakeholders, trainers, particpants) and to facilitate positive outcomes for migrant women in rural communities.

Results:

Enhanced Knowledge: Adult educators, trainers, and institutions working with migrant women gain a wealth of knowledge through a custom handbook developed exclusively for the “Together We Can” learning and training program.

The handbook for trainers will increase the capacity of adult educators, trainers, and institutions that will then expand their capabilities through transnational training. Enabling them to effectively guide the local integration pilot program within the “Together We Can” initiative. Following the learning and training schemes presented in the handbook, the Together We Can trainings will be a series of local trainings in each of the partner countries which will results in improved inclusion and integration of migrant women living in rural areas, mobilized participation and an enhanced sustainability regarding the transferability, viability, and long-term sustainability of the “Together We Can” learning and training program.

In summary, the outcomes of the TWC learning and training scheme are dedicated to empowering migrant women, fostering their inclusion, and leaving a lasting positive impact on their lives and communities.
