Great success in Germany: Local Together We Can workshop series solemnly completed
The Together We Can piloting training program in Germany was implemented by VNB in cooperation with the County of Nienburg/Weser (Germany). The local Job Center Nienburg and the regional Employment Agency (Arbeitsagentur) were closely incorporated as well as migrant self-organizations and other local associations. During the Summer and Autumn a total of 64 migrant women from the region took part in 15 training workshops.
“Thanks to everyone involved in this wonderful project. It was a great time that gave me motivation to move forward with confidence.” The quote from one of the participants summarizes very well the feelings that were shared between the migrant women at the end of the workshop session period.
The programme ended with the awarding of the certificates, and with good news: it has been announced that there will be a new round of Together We Can next year, addressing even more migrant women in the County of Nienburg.
